Harley Lappin, head of prisons bureau, arrested for drunk driving


The director of the federal Bureau of Prisons was arrested on drunk driving charges and has announced his resignation.

Harley Lappin is accused of driving under the influence in Annapolis in February. He is facing drunk driving charges, ABC7 has learned.

Lappin announced his retirement last week. He is set to leave the position on May 7.
